Evangelyn Jeong

Evangelyn was born and raised in Fairfax, Virginia. She knew she wanted to work in the education field since she was in the first grade. Evangelyn graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Elementary Education from George Mason University. She has over 10 years of experience working with children in a variety of educational settings. Prior to joining The Primary School,  Evangelyn was a Kindergarten teacher at an international school in Mountain View, CA. A majority of the students were multilingual, so she helped many children in reading and writing. 

Evangelyn has a strong passion for literacy instruction. She wishes to promote each child’s individualized learning with differentiated instruction so they become lifelong learners. She aspires to provide a safe and nurturing environment where students can be themselves and flourish. 

Outside of work, Evangelyn enjoys reading, trying new foods and exploring the outdoors with her husband and dog! She is beyond excited to build long-lasting relationships with the students and families of The Primary School!
