Desiree Davis

Desiree was born and raised in Bakersfield, California but spent her summers with family in the Bay Area. Desiree has always had a passion for education at a young age, always volunteering to help her classmates. In 2015, Desiree graduated from California State University, East Bay with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Sociology. During her time in college, Desiree worked as a K-12 Tutor before going into her teaching career. Desiree has taught 3rd grade for 5 years and she believes that every child is capable of gaining the highest success, and that each child can do anything they set their mind to.

Desiree highly encourages and supports students to strive for the best and make the necessary steps to accomplish their goals, both academic and non-academic. Desiree joined TPS for her desire to support students who are misrepresented in the US Education system who do not get the proper education and support that they truly deserve.
