Heman Gill
Heman was born and raised in a small, rural town called Selma, in the heart of the Central Valley of California. He grew up with mentors, teachers, and community members who demonstrated the importance of early investment in education. As a result, Heman found that his passion lies at the intersection between community health, public policy, and education.
Heman graduated from Stanford University with a BS in Human Biology. He previously worked for the Stanford Medical Youth Science Program, the UCSF Juvenile Justice Behavioral Health (JJBH) Team, and has worked for a couple congressional campaigns as well. Heman is excited to leverage the experiences he has been involved in to serve the East Palo Alto community.
