Marlene Godinez
Born and raised in East Palo Alto, Marlene has actively worked with children of all ages and groups. From helping in AYSO coaching to managing and helping the children’s department in her local Church. She worked passionately as a teacher with the Stanford Arboretum Children’s Center. While working for the children’s center she took childhood development courses and learned the vital roles early childhood education has for children and the community. This is where she became passionate about bridging the gap between various socioeconomic backgrounds and why she found schools such as the Primary School to be vital in uplifting our communities. She is honored to be part of the operations team as a Program Operations Assistant.
Her passion outside of The Primary School is spent at her local church as a production lead, creative lead, and youth board lead. She also helps the junior’s and children’s ministries and will help lead on coordinating events and media. She enjoys working with children and youth of all ages and believes in building strong community relations to uplift children from a young start.
