Tryshna Malonzo
Tryshna was born and raised in the South Bay Area. She is a first-generation college graduate with a B.A. in Psychology and Multi-Subject Teaching Credential from University of the Pacific. During her undergraduate years, she immersed herself with work surrounding children, and participated in programs in the Stockton and Filipino-American community. Because of this, she has developed a passion for trauma-informed and culture-based practices, and often finds herself in spaces of teaching and healing.
Before coming to The Primary School, Tryshna taught Kindergarten for 5 academic years in Stockton, California. Currently, she is in a hybrid MEd Program for Early Childhood Education at University of Hawai’i at Mānoa. She believes that every child and family has a right to a holistic education and support.
Her life mission is to share her passions and knowledge in hopes of contributing to advancing equity in the Education field by working with other passionate people, like The Primary School, to help our communities thrive.
