Brenda Perez Macedo

Brenda moved to the Bay Area at the age of six and has since been an active member of the community through volunteer work and school engagement.

Brenda earned her BA in Sociology and Psychology from UC Santa Cruz in 2020. Before joining The Primary School, Brenda worked as a Family Advocate with a Head Start in Oakland, connecting with families during weekly check-ins focused on helping families set goals and providing local resources when needed. She discovered the importance of empowering and supporting parents through their parenting journeys since they are their child's first teachers and offer their children safety and stability to thrive.
