Nnenna Okezie-Sanchez was born and raised in Los Angeles by Nigerian immigrant parents who made sure education and cultural values were kept at the forefront of growing up in a changing and thriving city. Family life is extremely important, especially as the mother of a surviving and thriving twin daughter. She started her passion in childhood education while attending San Francisco State University where she obtained a BA in Child and Adolescent Development with a concentration in Child and Family: Birth to 5. In addition, she obtained an Education Specialist: Mild/Moderate credential from NDNU.
