Robert Barron
Robert was inspired to join The Primary School because of his belief in the comprehensive model that integrates education, health care, and family support services. He understands the importance of all three systems working together and of the inequities that exist for students and families living in underserved communities. Prior to joining TPS, Robert recruited teachers, aspiring teachers, and all other education professionals to serve in schools across various regions of the country, but most recently in the Bay Area and Washington
Robert began his career providing academic and socio-emotional support to students across LAUSD and eventually worked alongside school leaders to implement programs focused on attendance, behavior, and course-work. Robert is proud to be a first generation college graduate. He received his BA in Sociology with a Minor in Spanish from CSU Fullerton.
