With a passion for empowering individuals to discover their inner strengths and access advancement through cultivating agency and self-efficacy, Cristina has worked with youth and families for the past 7 years in a variety of community and school based settings in the Bay Area. Before joining The Primary School, Cristina worked as an MFT trainee through Youth & Family Services of Fremont counseling at risk families and youth on probation.

Cristina firmly believes that every human being holds innate potential to rise above their circumstances and succeed beyond expectation in life with the presence of a supportive community that fosters kindness, empathy, and equal opportunity.

Cristina Earned her BA in Psychology from Sonoma State University and later went on to attend Santa Clara University where she graduated with an MA in Counseling Psychology and an emphasis in Correctional Psychology.
