Brenda Quezada

Brenda was born and raised in East Palo Alto in a single parent household. Being from East Palo Alto has pushed Brenda to want to give back to the community she grew up in. Brenda initially pursued an associate degree in Criminal Justice as a means to start a career as a probation officer for juveniles. It was through her work as a mentor through one of the local Boys and Girls Club after school programs, that Brenda realized that she wanted to support children as a teacher. Since then she has become the mother of two boys and obtained her Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education at San Jose State University. Brenda is proud to be part of The Primary School team and contribute to its formation in her community through all her identities which include her experience as daughter, student, mother, and now teacher.
