Samantha Ferrante
Samantha is born and raised in the Bay Area and has always had a passion for working with young children and their families. Samantha strongly believes that the way we interact with children and their families plays a crucial aspect in a child’s development, educational outcomes, and provides the fundamental skills necessary to live successful lives as confident and informed citizens. Samantha decided to become an Early Interventionist because she knows how vital the first three years of a child’s life is, which is why she is motivated to support children’s growth and development early on so that when they are older they have the skills that will transpire into their adulthood.
Before becoming an Early Interventionist at The Primary School, Samantha was a private nanny for a family for almost two years. Then, she became a Behavioral Therapist for children with Autism, in which she provided Applied Behavior Analyst (ABA) therapy to children in a play-based model for a year and half. Samantha also interned at the Early Childhood Education Center at San Francisco State where she worked with toddlers under the age of 2 years old.
Samantha recently graduated this Spring 2023 at San Francisco State University, in which she received her B.A. in Child and Adolescent Development with a concentration in Early Childhood and a minor in Special Education. Samantha is excited to be a part of The Primary School team and community. She looks forward to working with and connecting with children and families and thrives to make an impact in the East Bay community.
