Diana Plascencia-Diaz

Diana Plascencia-Diaz graduated from San Jose State University in 2021 with her BA in Psychology. She is excited to be joining The Primary School as a Bilingual Family Engagement Associate. Prior to joining the team she worked as a Registered Behavior Therapist (RBT) with children in San Jose and Campbell. Diana has found working with children to be rewarding and she has realized the importance of working closely with families. Diana knew from a young age that she wanted to work helping families. She aims to be the person and advocate that she wished her family had when she was growing up. Diana is passionate about advocating for families by helping them break barriers that have gotten in the way of their success in the past. 

During free time, Diana enjoys spending time with family and friends. She also enjoys going on walks, singing and painting. Diana believes it is important to take care of ourselves as well as others.
