Celestina Siordia

Celestina Siordia was born and raised in Wilmington, CA. She earned a BA in Human Development and Italian Studies from California State University, Long Beach. After graduating, she completed a year of service in the AmeriCorps where she tutored math at Match middle school in Boston, MA. Celestina continued to work at Match as a Language Acquisition teacher, where she specialized in working with English learners. She earned her Master’s degree in Education from Boston University and has had her work published in the TESOL Journal. Her teaching experience includes teaching high school ESL and co-teaching middle school humanities and math classes. Celestina is passionate about making grade-level content accessible to all students, including students with disabilities and English learners. 

Celestina joined TPS for the 2022-23 school year as an Upper Elementary Recovery Lead and as a member of the Middle Grades Design Team. She is excited to continue in this role for the 2023-24 school year!
