Asya Hristova

Asya is from Sofia, Bulgaria and grew up in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. She began her career providing literacy and socio-emotional support to 1st graders in Oakland. Asya found her passion working with the youngest learners and continued providing support in elementary schools in the Bay Area teaching PE, yoga, special education, and most recently- 4th grade. She is excited to be with the 5th graders this year- the oldest group of students at The Primary School! Asya is teaching Math and loves helping students understand it and love it, too! She is excited to be part of The Primary School to help each child progress in all areas of their development.
