Maria Duque

Maria is Bay Area born and raised and has always admired education as she believes there is power in knowledge. Ever since she was little she broke barriers for her family, friends and peers — inspired by the amazing, caring and devoted teachers she grew up with. Maria enjoys helping and working with children while being a role model but also a safe keeper for her community.

Maria is currently a student at Cal State East Bay University in Hayward graduating this Winter 2022 with a BA in Liberal Studies with a concentration in Early Childhood Education. She hopes to advance in her studies and get her masters.

She is excited to continue and be part of the TPS community her 2nd year and only hopes to grow and thrive making in impact in the East Bay community.
