Alexess Sosa

Alexess was raised in a rural, Texas town called Big Spring where their love for education began. Alexess’ love for learning took them to Stanford University as a first-generation college student where they graduated with a Bachelor of Arts with honors in Human Biology and a minor in education. While working with East Palo Alto and Redwood City youth as an aspiring children’s psychologist, Alexess realized everything they wanted to achieve with children in the therapy setting could be done through school. Alexess began their teaching career with Kindergarteners back in their hometown, but their drive to holistically serve children and their families brought them back to the Bay Area to teach at The Primary School. Alexess looks forward to returning to the East Palo Alto community and learning how to help students’ minds and souls flourish from other educators, parents, and students.
