Patrina Aaron

Patrina is a Bay Area native born and raised in East San Jose. Her passion for pursuing her career in education began during her undergraduate years at Chico State University.

Patrina spent her years volunteering at a juvenile center in Oroville, California, and being a teacher’s aide in schools that were located in marginalized communities. Reflecting on her childhood experience growing up in a marginalized community influenced her decision in wanting to give back to the community in which she loves. She has been teaching in the EPA community for over five years and considers EPA as her second home. From this, her passion for teaching grew much stronger and she went to pursue her Master’s degree in elementary education.
