Dr. Lucy Phuong

Dr. Lucy Phuong is a pediatrician with Kaiser Permanente in Hayward, California where she has practiced since 2004.  Lucy has served in various leadership roles for the medical group. During her tenure as Chief of Pediatrics, she was instrumental in building the partnership between The Primary School and Kaiser Permanente for the East Bay Area school site.   She currently serves as Assistant Physician-in-Chief for the Fremont and San Leandro Medical Centers, supporting Performance Improvement initiatives as well as operations and strategic planning for the departments of Pediatrics and Obstetrics/Gynecology.

 Lucy earned her BA in Economics and BS in Biological Sciences from Stanford University and MD from Albert Einstein College of Medicine. She completed her pediatric residency training at Harbor-UCLA Medical Center.
