Steven Dow

Steven Dow serves as the Early Childhood Education Advisor to Mayor Sylvester Turner in the City of Houston.  Prior to relocating back to his hometown of Houston to be with his elderly parents, Steven served as Executive Director of CAP Tulsa from 1992 through 2019.  CAP Tulsa embraces a two-generation anti-poverty strategy which focuses on providing high-quality early childhood education coupled with comprehensive family support services.  A graduate of Yale College and Yale Law School, Steven also serves on the Board of the Center for Law & Social Policy and is the proud father of three young adult women.
